This blog will primarily serve as my digital portfolio for my artwork.
Most of my art is inspired by historical art styles, used by scandinavians from around 750 a.d. to 1050 a.d., the infamous Viking-age, which I use to illustrate mythological creatures and figures from old norse and germanic legends.
While my pieces of art should not be considered authentic, as I reserve myself a fair bit of artistic freedom in my art, I do use and recreate details and characteristics from the diverse historic art styles. They were named after the locations where they were found on a variety of archeaological relics.
I do also do my very best to deliver as accurate as possible translations for the runic inscriptions often included in my art.
